SEO Title TagA title tag is a metadata item in the beginning of a web page holds the name that is assigned to the web page by its creator or host. The title tag text may be displayed in a navigation bar or status display on the user's web browser and it may be stored in the user's bookmarks if the user decides to save the page for future viewing. It is recommended to use the most important keywords in the title tag if possible and not to repeat the keyword. The title tag should be relevant to the content in the web site. Figure 1 shows how the metadata title tag may be used. This diagram shows that the metadata title tag may be displayed in the browser status bar at the top of the browser window.
